In ancient myth, Medea was an immortal granddaughter of the Sun
whose family served as guardians of the Golden Fleece. But when
her husband Jason forsakes her to further his quest for power and

blending mortal corruption and betrayal with divine, supernatural
vengeance, Euripides' gripping thrill ride transcends the ages to

This musical takes place during America's 1950's. Danny is a
popular hot shot at school and Sandy is sweet do-goody. They
have a summer fling, but Sandy, who was going to move for the
school year doesn't and ends up going to the same school as
Danny. She finds that he is a different boy than the one she knew
over the summer and must decide whether they really "go
together."
The Glass Menagerie
by Tennessee Williams
Directed by Cathie Strickland
February 27-28, 2009

A son's recollection of events that happened ten years earlier, Tom
Wingfield, a would-be poet, works in a shoe warehouse to help support the
family, but longs to travel the world. His frail sister Laura is a young woman
who loves to tend her collection of glass figurines, but real-life encounters
make her sick with fright. Their domineering mother Amanda, a one-time
Southern debutante who pines over her lost youth and bad marriage, frets
over their living conditions and her children's futures. She nags Tom into
bringing home "a gentleman caller" for Laura. When the date goes horribly
wrong, it leads to a disastrous family split.
